This drink is not even out in the US market yet but I think it should be. There is some kind of lawsuit going on because the Slow Cow people “copied” the Red Bull packaging but the drink has the opposite effect of the well known energy drink. This drink’s main ingredient is L-Theanine which “… is an amino acid commonly found in tea (infusions of Camellia sinensis).  Contrary to caffeine, L-Theanine increases the levels of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), which is a neurotransmitter inhibitor that produces a feeling of relaxation and creates a feeling of well-being.  In addition, it is well documented that L-Theanine increases mental awareness, helps in relaxation without causing sleepiness, reduces stress and anxiety,  improves cognition, concentration and sleep quality.  It also helps in diminishing the side effects of caffeine, builds up the immune system response and reduces premenstrual syndrome symptoms…” (Slow Cow). It also contains Chamomile, Sifflora, and Valerian, among other natural ingredients.

If the effect is the opposite as that of energy drinks, does this make them competitors as well? Some people do need energy, and some have way too much. I think it is awesome that someone actually thought about us, the too energetic people of this world. I can’t wait to have one!

Yeah I was confused myself. How can you edit music with a phone and why is it so weird – but cool- looking? Ready? Here is the answer.  “Ondo is a conceptual mobile phone for the music enthusiast who seeks to interactively capture and edit sounds.” (PilotFish) You can call your friends BUT you can also capture music with  removable sticks that you can clip onto a music instrument or person. After you have recorded your music you can send it via MMS,  and you can edit it by twisting and bending the device. If you are wondering what to do for the next hour and a half I highly recommend this video. Thanks to a friend I ran into it and it is, by far, the most amazing Earth video I have seen. The images, the music, and everything together makes you go on the most beautiful journey you’ve ever been to. It is more than just a documentary with a message, it is the most beautiful way to awake humanity to really start or keep working hard to save and conserve our “HOME“.  Enjoy your trip!

The only purpose of this post is to show my respect to “The King of Pop”. Michael Jackson’s music will be forever remembered in the hearts of billions of people. MJ may have died but his music is very much alive and will, most likely, stay alive for many generations.

My deepest condolences to his family, may Michael rest in peace.

This was my favorite MJ album when I was a kid.

Am I very easily amused or is this just a cool way to distract yourself when no one else is online? If I could just memorize where each sound is and/or record the noises I am making I think I could be a little better at creating real music with this virtual drum set. I still find it quite distracting though. It has cool sounds like “daaaaamn”; this is when you you say this is wayyyy more than just a drum set.
